Welcome to InKing Royalty’s October Blog Hop!
There are so many ways to say “Thank you,” and today’s blog hop is filled with projects that do just that. The products in Stampin’ Up!’s annual and holiday catalogs make it easy to beautifully express gratitude and we are excited to share some of our creations with you.
After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person listed below.
I’m a longtime admirer of coffee, that delicious elixir of life. I love it so much that if you asked me to choose between coffee and wine — well, I’d never speak to you again because that’s just mean.
But, I did choose the Coffee Cafe Photopolymer Bundle for my blog hop project to thank the caregiver who watches over and teaches my grandson while my daughter works to earn her degree.
After all, what person who works with a handful toddlers can pass up caffeine?
To make this card, I used Early Espresso card stock for the base, because of the name. And because it coordinates with the gorgeous Coffee Break Designer Series Paper. I layered several patterns of the paper and then stamped and cut out the coffee cup, top, cardboard sleeve (my favorite die in the set) and the “Thanks a Latte” sentiment.
I wanted to use some of the adorable images I cut from a colorful page of the DSP, so I cut strips from a window sheet and attached the cutouts to the strips, then adhered the strips to the back of the large cup so the cutouts look like they’re floating.
A matching gift card adhered with a couple of mini glue dots inside the card was all I needed to finish it off!
This whole suite speaks to my coffee-bean-crusted heart, so I bought everything in it, something I don’t always do. I love that this set can be used for so many occasions. Also, there is a coordinating holiday set called Merry Cafe in the holiday catalog that is perfect for fall and winter occasions and gift-giving.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Robin Myren at Songbird Designs by Robin. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group and you don’t want to miss it!
