Grateful for you for PPA 259

I love color challenges, so when I saw this week’s PPA Challenge, I was excited to give it a whirl.

Here’s the challenge:

Starting off, I was sure I was going to use my Celebrate Today stamp set and Balloon Framelits Dies.

Things changed, though, when I picked up my Color Me Irresistible Specialty Designer Series Paper (on sale this week!) and started inking it with Pacific Point.

I was having so much fun using my sponge daubers for the first time, I decided to keep inking, using all three colors.

Of course, my first thought was that it looked patriotic. With these colors, how could it not? Instead of trying to fight it, I continued the theme since I had the idea of sending it to a politician whom I feel has been a real friend to the people.

Yeah, there are a few good ones out there. 😀

The sentiment is from Merry Everything, but instead of cutting it into a tag, I used a circle shape to mimic the polka dots. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the white circle and the star.

Here’s what I used to make the card:

Thanks for stopping by! I'm an avid crafter and a Stampin' Up! independent demonstrator, which helps me fuel my hobby with the best products out there!
