Today I thought I would try my hand at the Mojo Monday #392 challenge. I’ve been wanting to try one of these sketch challenges, but I never seem to make the deadline. Now here it is about 45 minutes before the link closes and I’m typing as fast as I can to try to slide in under the wire while cooking dinner.
Oh, the life of a multi-tasker!

I chose to use my Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Critters set for this challenge because I just don’t get to use it enough. I think it’s a fun set for kids and adults alike. This set is available until June 2 from the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog, so don’t miss out!
The construction of this card is pretty straightforward, with a couple of exceptions. To get the bear to fit into my circle punch, I ended up cropping off the ends of his sign. So, I punched another bear, cut off the sign and glued it over the top of the original one.
I also wanted to use Washi tape, but the background of my card showed through the light-colored yellow. I fixed this by adhering the tape onto white card stock and cutting it out so the white stripes showed up.
I think he turned out pretty cute, and with the bears out of hibernation here in Montana, it’s also a very timely card!
